GENERAL FAQ's

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

All appointments can be made by calling the studio on 0208 354 3970.

We also have an app and online booking system where you can make, cancel and check your appointments. This can be downloaded from your App Store!

When booking online a small deposit will be taken to complete the booking by taking your card details. This deposit will be deducted off your treatment cost.

While we do offer walk-in appointments, we cannot guarantee we will have availability. As a result, we recommend booking in advance.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY APPOINTMENT & WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I'M RUNNING LATE?

If you are a new client then we recommend coming to the studio 10 minutes prior to your treatment so we can get you a drink and you can complete any necessary consent forms.

Unfortunately, if you are late for your appointment your treatment may need to be cut short and you will still be charged for the full treatment, we recommend arriving 5 minutes prior to your treatment to avoid disappointment.

Please contact the studio to let us know if you are running late!

WHAT IS OUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We appreciate that sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please find our cancellation & rescheduling policy below.

  1. Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled a minimum of 48 hours’ in advance of the scheduled appointment time.
  2. Cancellations and rescheduling MUST be done via the Young LDN app, phone call or email to the studio.
  3. Any appointment cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the full treatment cost being charged to you.
  4. Any appointment missed without prior cancellation or rescheduling will result in a full fee for the missed appointment.
  5. If a client reschedules an appointment more than once,  we will require the full treatment cost upfront.
  6. If a client is more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you however, we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the original  treatment booked.
  7. Any cancellations or rescheduling issues that arise due to extenuating circumstances may be discussed with the clinic on a case-by-case basis.

We thank you for your cooperation and continued support in allowing us to be able to do what we love.

DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

For treatments booked, we require a deposit of 50% of the treatment value (unless stated otherwise*). This will be deducted from the overall treatment cost at check out in the studio.

Please note the deposit will be refunded if the appointment is rescheduled or cancelled in line with our cancellation policy.

*Exceptions to this rule are:

For clients with 3+ no-shows, we require a deposit of 100% of the treatment value before booking.

WHY DO I HAVE TO FILL IN A CONSULTATION FORM?

We ask all our clients to fill out a confidential consultation form before every appointment and ask for these to be filled out honestly as some treatments and products may not be suitable for certain medical problems.

It’s not because we’re being nosy!!

CAN I HAVE A TREATMENT IF I'M PREGNANT?

It is really important to let us know in confidence if you are pregnant, as there are certain treatments and products not suitable throughout pregnancy.

However, we can offer lots of treatments and adapt treatments to suit you and your baby!

WHY DO I NEED A TEST PATCH?

This is to make sure you don’t have a reaction to any of the products or machines used in the treatment. It is required by most insurers that every studio carries out a test patch for all new clients. Please note for certain treatments (such as laser hair removal) we may require you to have another patch test should your skin be exposed to the sun or fake tan.

The main treatments that require test patching are laser hair removal, IPL, laser tattoo removal, eyelash tinting, brow tinting and lvl lash lifts.

Please allow 24 hours after the patch test has been carried out before having one of these treatments.

I'VE HAD BOTOX/ FILLER. CAN I STILL HAVE A FACIAL?

Yes, you can still have facials however we ask you to wait 2 weeks after having Botox/ dermal fillers to avoid moving the product under the skin.

I'M NEW TO FACIALS. WHICH ONE SHOULD I BOOK?

Nowadays there are an overwhelming amount of skincare treatments available, as such, it can be almost impossible to figure out which one is right for your skin. This is why we’ve created our ‘Signature Consult & Undecided Treatment‘ which includes a detailed consultation after which your therapist will recommend the best treatment for you skin.

EMSCULPT NEO FAQ's

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM EMSCULPT NEO?

Anyone can benefit from Emsculpt NEO. The technology within the Emsculpt NEO machine targets fat, making it the ideal treatment for new mums who are looking to reduce the size of their mummy tummy post-pregnancy. To achieve optimal results, this body sculpting treatment should be used as part of a healthy, active lifestyle.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS FOLLOWING EMSCULPT NEO?

While some clients will see immediate results, we recommend a course of 4 sessions over the course of a couple of weeks. You will typically see the best results around 6 weeks after your final session.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EMSCULPT & EMSCULPT NEO?

The most obvious difference between the two treatments is the technology used to achieve results. While Emsculpt relies solely on advanced HIFEM energy to tone and reduce fat, Emsculpt Neo is the pioneer in combining HIFEM with radio frequency technology. Eventually, this means that Emsculpt NEO is a more powerful fat reduction option than its predecessor.

HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS FROM EMSCULPT NEO LAST?

While unwanted fat cells are permanently destroyed with Emsculpt NEO, the treatment also partially requires you to live a healthy lifestyle. Not doing so may reverse the results achieved with Emsculpt Neo.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL FAQ's

DOES LASER HAIR REMOVAL HURT?

You’ll probably be surprised to hear that most patients have described it as less painful than waxing! The sensation is alike to a rubber band being pinged at the skin, and if you can handle multiple hairs being pulled out from your skin at once, you can definitely handle laser hair removal. 

At Young LDN, we’re able to deliver painless hair removal with a built-in cryo cooling system combined with a Zimmer cooling device. This reduces and soothes the rubber band sensation.

WHEN WILL I NOTICE RESULTS AFTER LASER HAIR REMOVAL?

You should begin to see a significant reduction in hair after your second session. However, it is worth noting that everybody is different and we do recommend a course of 6-8 treatments to achieve optimum results.

WHAT AGE CAN I GET LASER HAIR REMOVAL FROM?

We can treat clients who are older that 16 but we do require parental consent if the client is younger than 18.

HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?

Typically clients will remain hair free for months or even years. However, it will depend on your hair type, treatment area and the number of treatments undertaken.  To upkeep results, you may require maintenance laser treatments from time to time.
